The 'Atomic Kegger' at Don's Atomic Comics last night was a smashing success! We literally sold through a pile of copies of 'First Person, Last Straw' and partied til the break of dawn! Thanks to everybody who showed drank, and stayed merry! It was a great opportunity to tie one on with some fans, talk comics, and then drink some more. One gentleman (Seth) told me that his 16 year old nephew had read through both my previous books and was a huge fan. Zany Hijinx, my last book, was over 500 pages, and wasn't for the meek, so hats off to him. For four straight hours of beer swilling, I'm amazed that I'm conscious at this point. Don and I cleaned house cash wise, and people were still ringing out while he was closing up at midnight. Huge thanks to Don and Ian at Don's Atomic for working a twelve hour day for the sake of the promotion. We'll have to do it again some time in the new year. It was a really profitable and malt-inducing endeavor. I've got enough cash and comics to retire to my couch for another two days and recover from my wisdom tooth extraction.
